Amidat is a Nigerian-American engineer, artist, and community leader passionate about building equitable food systems that honor culture and dignity—from farmers to consumers. She’s currently pursuing an MBA/MS at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and the School for Environment and Sustainability, where she’s a Consortium Fellow, MÁS Scholar, and Erb Institute Fellow.

At Michigan, Amidat supports impact-driven ventures through the Zell Lurie Institute, Business+Impact Studio, and the UM International Investment Fund. She previously worked in strategy and operations in the e-commerce sector and holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech. A DMV native and certified hot yoga instructor, she’s also a devoted foodie and wellness enthusiast.
