Daniel began his career in investment operations at TCW before advancing to roles in intellectual property valuation and investment banking. Prior to joining Avivar, he served as a Capital Markets & Investments Manager on The Walt Disney Company's Treasury team, where he supported the company's capital markets and investment activities while managing relationships with minority-owned investment banks as part of Disney's commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the capital markets.

Throughout his career, Daniel has remained committed to deepening his financial expertise and applying it as a tool for social impact—an interest shaped by his upbringing and firsthand understanding of the barriers faced by underserved communities. He is passionate about expanding access to capital for overlooked founders and communities through impact investing and more inclusive financial markets.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona), and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management."
