Internship Program

Avivar is proud to host both Undergraduate and Graduate Interns each year, introducing impact investing to the next generation of changemakers in the field.

Avivar is deeply committed to building the field of impact investing by cultivating a diverse and inclusive next generation of impact investing professionals that represent the communities we serve.   As such, Avivar hosts an annual internship program through which we hire graduate, undergraduate and, in exceptional cases, high school students from leading schools.  We have a particular focus on recruiting diverse candidates to join the firm as Summer Associates and Analysts who, in some cases, stay on as interns throughout their remaining academic school year.

Avivar understands that many young professionals are juggling economic and family challenges along with academic and career requirements.  This can lead to selecting a high-paying internship over one with a greater impact investing- and/or underserved community focus. This is particularly true when the costs of living are high, as in major U.S. cities including Los Angeles. Thus, Avivar provides an internship program that offers competitive compensation, catalytic career development opportunities, and a focus on investment strategies that can drive transformational change for underserved communities.
